Hi sweeties!
I hope you’re all doing fine during these really hot days :)
First of all sorry for the slightly late post, I totally forgot to write one! I think it’s mainly because of the superhot weather and the fact that I was figuring out how to do my new parttime job. But……here it is and I’ll tell you all about my trip to Brussels and show you one of the looks I shot there.
This first look is all about my new yellow pleated skirt! It was totally out of my comfortzone because normally I’m more a ‘pants-type-of-girl’ ;p Nevertheless, I kind of enjoyed wearing a skirt and I think about wearing skirts more often. Not only is it really comfy, it’s also the perfect solution on hot summery days. I wore the skirt with a white knitted top and some sneakers. Whenever I’m on a city trip I always feel that sneakers are the best way to go. I’m just not a natural talent when it comes to wearing heels xp
So, now on to my weekend trip to Brussels! It’s one of those cities you don’t really think about when planning a city trip in western Europe. You mostly think about Paris or London, but I must say that Brussels was totally worth the visit! There is so much pretty architecture, cute old streets and that main square: OMG so beautiful. The Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, Martyrs’ Square, Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, and the Brussels Park with this pretty fountain are also worth a visit! Furthermore, I also visited the Atomium and Mini-Europe. The Atomium was more impressive from the outside I must say, because inside there is not that much to see apart from the pretty view from the highest floor. Mini-Europe was also a bit disappointing, but mainly because it was super hot that day and there were no trees (so no shadow) at all. So, in general I had a really good time in Brussels and I would love to go back :D
I’m also thinking about where to go next, so if you have any tips…. ;p
X
