Amsterdam Stories: Love My City, 1st Birthday Nephew & More

Hi darlings!

First of all: happy new moon! I’m not really sure if this is something you’re interested in, but I always feel the energy is different every new moon or full moon. Fun fact: following lunar cycles is something that caught my eye a couple of years ago. And … today’s new moon solar eclipse in Virgo can truly be a significant turning point. A solar eclipse is way more powerful than a ‘regular’ new moon. Generally speaking: the days before and after a new moon are perfect for setting intentions, opening up to change and embracing the new. So, are you ready for new beginnings? :)

Okay, let me tell you a bit about last week now! To be honest: it was not as busy as normal, but I still enjoyed it. For work, I did a short Excel course and it even was some kind of fun! Even though it was quite rainy from Monday to Thursday, I still strolled through the pretty streets of Amsterdam last Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. How I love seeing the first signs of Fall already. I can’t help but fall in love with Amsterdam over and over again, everything I’m in the city center. Moving here was truly an amazing decision.

Something else that’s really worth mentioning in today’s blog post is: the 1st birthday of my nephew! That’s why I traveled to my family last Friday afternoon. I stayed with my parents for two days and also enjoyed some quite time with them + walked around the small fair of my hometown. Last Saturday afternoon it was time to celebrate the birthday of my cute nephew. I was finally able to give my present (a photo album of pictures I took since his birth one year ago) and we enjoyed some cake together. Ohh, this weekend I also received the clothes I ordered online and some of these items were immediately added to my wardrobe :)

Okay, I do have some fun things planned for next weekend: I’ll be spending two days in Rotterdam with my parents and I’ll have my first ever acupuncture appointment on Sunday! Can’t wait to tell you all about it. Ohh, I’m also looking for a new yoga studio to join a yoga class every Friday morning (this is my weekly day off, yayy!).

So, that’s all for now! Remember: you are worthy of love, happiness and good things♥️
