Hi darlings!
How are you feeling this Sunday evening? I just finished dinner, my tea and video called with my mom :)
So, you’re probably a bit confused with today’s blog post title, but I really wanna mention my short trip to Rotterdam last Friday/Saturday with my parents. It’s only an hour by train and it’s been a while since I’ve been there. I met my parents at the hotel we would be staying that night: the Marriott Hotel. It’s super close to the central station of Rotterdam and Pillars Bar & Kitchen is located on the ground floor. After we checked in we first decided to have lunch at Pillars and … omg it was so delicious. I had an amazing falafel wrap with avocado hummus and french fries. Then it was time for our first stop: the iconic Euromast. We also booked the Euroscoop experience (to go to the top) for even greater views of Rotterdam. Later that day we dropped by the Wereldmuseum, where we had some coffee/tea. Ohh, I also bought the hydra beauty masque de nuit from Chanel at Bijenkorf (a premium department store). At the end of the day, we weren’t really sure where to have dinner. Since we loved the food at Pillars so much, we decided to go there once again. This time I ordered the best Buddha bowl ever, it was super yummy. A few hours later I enjoyed the pretty views from my room at the 10th floor and I took a relaxing bath.
Saturday afternoon, my parents brought me back to Amsterdam, after which they traveled back home. I decided to stroll around the city and go to the movies. It wasn’t too hard to decide which movie I wanted to see: Freakier Friday. Both the movie and the cinema were great! I had a wonderful day and felt super blessed :)
Okay, you remember I told you about my plans to go visit a traditional Japanese acupuncturist (for hormonal balance)? Well, I did it today! It was an unique experience and she also gave me a shiatsu massage. Some parts of my body felt painful when she put the thin needles into my skin, while other spots were completely painless. I also felt energy flowing throughout my arms at a certain point. Ohh, and when she put a needle into the skin on my forehead, I felt tingling around my third eye. Currently, I’m feeling super relaxed (okay, and maybe a bit tired), but this is normal, she said. I’ll keep you up-to-date about my progress :)
Well, that’s all I wanted to share with you for now! Some advice I really want to give you (this is a great reminder for myself too): you deserve all good things that are happening right now♥️
