Amsterdam Stories: Strolling Around, Visiting The Fam & More

Hi darlings!

I truly can’t believe it’s time for a brand new blog post already AND not forget to mention that it’s also the last weekend of October! Time flies ;) Luckily, I have so much fun things to look forward to the upcoming months (my birthday, a facial + massage, going to the hairdresser, staying in a luxury hotel in Amsterdam, trying a new ‘Yin yoga for her’ class, a city trip to Berlin, a luxury Christmas Boxing Day brunch and obviously X-mas with the fam and New Year’s Eve)! Can’t wait to experience it all + tell you all about it :)

So, today’s blog post might be a bit shorter than usual. Not because I don’t like writing one, but simply because I had kind of a quiet week and weekend. Work continues as usual and I’m even feeling content with it at the moment. Last Thursday at 15:30, my weekend started and even though it was quite rainy and windy, I really wanted to take the tram to the city center to stroll around the pretty streets. The gray skies still formed a beautiful contrast with the orange/red/yellow leaves of the trees. While I was walking through the canal streets, a leaf even fell on my shoulder and stayed there, hihi.

The next morning, I took the train to my parents for a relaxing weekend. After a 3-hour trip, my mom picked me up at the local bus stop and we went off to a Christmassy shop for a fun dose of Christmas vibes. Later that day, my sister came to my parents’ house for some chitchatting. Saturday morning, I decided that it would be fun to do some pumpkin carving, since it’s Halloween next Friday. At first I wasn’t really sure how the pumpkins would turn out, but in the end I really liked the result (see the photos below!).

That brings us to today: visiting the Media Museum of Hilversum + taking a short behind-the-scenes tour of the TV studios of Mediapark. We took so much fun pictures at props from famous tv shows, like The Voice. Ohh, we also made fun videos here: pretending to present the news or pretending to participate in a quiz/tv-show. At the end of the day, my parents took me back to my place, where we had a light dinner. Afterwards, we had to say goodbye before they drove back home.

Well, that’s all for now! Sleep well and I’ll talk to you next week. Don’t forget: everything you’re worrying about right now, will work out in the end♥️

X JJ
