Amsterdam Stories: Helping My Sister, New Yoga Studio & More

Hi darlings!

How are you feeling today? How was your weekend? I’m super excited, because my birthday month started (hihi): mark November 17th on your calendar ;)

So, last Sunday I didn’t wrote a blog post. I do love writing one, but I just didn’t had that much to share. I even didn’t take any cute pictures or strolled through the streets of Amsterdam. The reason for this was the relocation of my younger sister and her family. They bought a house like a month ago and last weekend it was time for them to move in. That weekend I decided to help them as much as I could, while I stayed with my parents in the eastern part of The Netherlands. Together with my mom we moved some small stuff in my mom’s car and that Saturday we babysat my little nephew the entire day. Therefore, there was no time for taking cute pics and doing fun stuff in my favorite city. Ohh, I did visit the local Halloween celebrations in the small village where my parents live: that was quite cute, hihi.

Now on to everything I did the past couple of days! Last Thursday evening and Friday were all about Amsterdam: visiting cute shops and having great food all by myself. One highlight was definitely the new yoga studio I recently discovered. I attended a ‘Yin for her’ yogaclass, which included amazing yin yoga, a cacao ceremony, a meditation and a sound bath. It. Was. Amazing. I felt so incredibly happy, zen and grateful afterwards. The teacher herself and the small group were also wonderful. So, it won’t surprise you that I’m already really looking forward to my next session. Ohh, I’m also in love with the festive vibes throughout the entire city: it makes Amsterdam even prettier :)

Yesterday (Saturday), I got on the train to my parents again, because we would visit my sister, brother-in-law and nephew for a super small housewarming. In the afternoon we first bought some housewarming gifts, before we drove to their new home. We spent the rest of the afternoon + evening there and even had fries for dinner. This morning was all about driving back to Amsterdam: first for a super yummy lunch (bread with eggs, avocado and more). Then we went into town and had a wonderful time. The sun was shining, the streets were pretty and our time at a local cafe were lovely. Special thanks to my mom for taking many cute outfit pics that day!

Well, we’ve reached the end of today’s blog post! I can’t wait to tell you all about my upcoming birthday celebrations (new blog post will be live on November 17th, instead of next Sunday). For now there’s only one thing I’d like to tell you: you deserve the same love you give to everyone else♥️

X JJ
