Hi darlings!
It’s December 1st when I’m writing this! Can you believe it? I hardly can! Well, when I look around me I do see Christmas vibes everywhere, so it’s quite obvious though. It really is THAT time of the year again. Every year I’m looking forward to the cozy and happy vibes of this month. How about you?
So, today’s blog post is not all about Amsterdam. It’s more 50/50: Amsterdam / spending the weekend at my parents’ house (close to the German border). First, let me tell you all about my working week. Remember a few months ago when I was super tired after work and didn’t really know if this was the job for me? Well, every week I’m feeling happier when it comes to this area of my life. I’m getting to know my colleagues better and better & and I’m feeling more at ease in a way. Who would have thought that? :) It’s also a big plus that I’m able to work from home a few days a week. This way I still have enough time for yoga, to meditate and for creating content almost every single day. Ohh, I also feel much better compared to when I was writing my previous blog post :)
Last week I haven’t really explored Amsterdam that much, though. When my working week was done, I did my weekly groceries and visited some cute shops. These days it gets dark quite early, so I love seeing all the Christmas lights throughout the city. It makes groceries shopping so much more fun :)
After my weekly chores it was time to take the train to my parents. It still feels like a second home to me. Even after all those months of living on my own. I had a lovely weekend there! On Saturday, we went to a small German Christmas market, where we also scored some Black Friday fashion deals (yayy!). In the evening we played a festive quartets card game. Sunday it was time to visit Intratuin Duiven: they have this huge indoor Christmas world, where you can also buy so much Christmas decoration. I ended up buying some new plants to join my little plant family (I’m a proud plant mom of 12 babies now, hihi). Ohh, I almost forgot that I also helped my mom put up the Christmas tree on Friday evening!
One note before I’ll end this blog post: there won’t be a new post next Sunday, since I’ll be travelling with my parents to Berlin for a city trip. Can’t wait to show you all the Christmas vibes and to tell you all about it :)
Well, today’s blog post isn’t complete, without sharing a meaningful quote: some things are worth the wait. They will turn out better than you can imagine♥️
