Hi darlings!
What day of the week is it? I found myself asking this question a couple of times a day lately, hihi. It’s also super hard to believe 2026 is right around the corner! Ohh … I’m also wondering: how are you feeling? Did you have a wonderful Christmas or are you just happy those days are over? I did have a lovely Christmas, but I’m also kind of excited to take down my Christmas tree. Super ready for ‘normal’ days and a brand new year :)
But first, let me tell you all about everything I did since writing my previous blog post! Last Wednesday (24th), I took the train to my parents for a wonderful dinner at a hotel’s restaurant. The next day I woke up at my parents’ house. Around 11:30 my sister, brother-in-law and nephew also arrived. We had a yummy lunch and we gave some presents to my nephew (he’s 15 months old and adorable). Then it was time to play a boardgame + tea/coffee and a light snack. We all wanted to win, but in the end we didn’t finish the game (luckily, hihi). Afterwards, we had a gourmet dinner. There were lots of delicious things to choose from and I loved it.
On Boxing Day I traveled with my parents back to Amsterdam for a great lunch at a restaurant (I had some slices of bread with egg, avocado and more). That afternoon we also visited the Soestdijk Palace, which was beautiful. Then the best part of the day came (hihi): time for presents! I loved giving my carefully selected gifts to my parents and I’m so happy that they liked them. Ohh, I was also super spoiled with everything I got! I’m feeling beyond grateful and I couldn’t ask for more :)
So, when those Christmas days were over it was time to enjoy some free time by myself. I planned some fun things like: The Nutcracker and the Mouse King ballet performance, a fresh manicure, Holiday On Ice skating show & going to the movies. Each and every activity felt special. I often thought back of how my life was exactly one year ago: unemployed, living with my parents and in general a kinda hopeless feeling. Not knowing all of the beautiful things 2025 had in store for me. Ohh .. I’m also talking to a cute guy (through a dating app) for a couple of weeks now and he even asked me out. So, who knows what this will bring ;) Nevertheless, I’m also super happy as a single lady and I’m feeling deeply connected with my intuition and feelings. I really think I had to learn and experience that first.
Well, with only two more days of 2025 left, I decided to take it slow tomorrow. I planned on doing yoga + a long meditation, doing groceries, reading a new book I bought a few weeks ago and cleaning my apartment a bit. New Year’s Eve won’t be to crazy either: I’m spending it with my dearest parents. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. For now I wanna wish you all an amazing, happy, blessed, healthy, abundant and lovingly 2026!!! Just a short reminder to really end this post: you’re perfect just the way you are. Keep on shining your purest energy, dear♥️
