Hi darlings!
How are you feeling today? I hope you had a great start of a brand new week! The start of my week was just okay. Last night, I had lots of busy dreams, so when I woke up I was still a bit tired. One thing I remember is that I was travelling through India and there was this stone stairs with tea lights in glass holders on every step. It was beautiful. I’m actually thinking about travelling and exploring the world quite often, lately. Countries like Japan, Singapore, India, Thailand, Morocco, Greece, Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands pass my thoughts. Sightseeing, discovering nature, soaking in new cultures, doing yoga everyday … it all sounds wonderful. I haven’t decided yet which country I wanna visit first. The ‘reality’ like my office job, budget and the amount of vacation days I have are also things that play a role with the decision process. Well, I’ll let you know once I’ve made my decision! Ohh, and if you have any tips for spiritual, unique or beautiful must-visit places: let me know!
So, now it’s time to tell you all about the things I did the past two weeks :) The photo gallery below starts with some shots of me going to the office for the weekly ‘office day’! I’m happy that I got to know my colleagues quite well and enjoy being around them. It makes work a lot easier. On Friday, I took the train to visit my sister and nephew. My sister picked me up at a local train station two hours later. First, the three of us had lunch at my sister’s home. Then it was time to put my nephew to bed. The rest of the afternoon my sister and I played board games and chatted a little. At the end of the afternoon I got the chance to play with my nephew a bit, after he woke up. Then my dad picked me up at my sister’s place for a lovely dinner at my parents’ home. I love it so much when my mom cooks for me :)
The next day, I enjoyed a quite day at my parents’ home and in the evening I played some fun games with my mom. On Sunday, the three of us travelled to Amsterdam for a yummy lunch and some sightseeing + shopping. We went to the Apple store, Oude Lutherse Kerk (a beautiful Church), House of Rituals, had tea at Krasnapolsky Grand Cafe and visited some other shops. After this lovely weekend, I was ready for a brand new week!
That brings us to last week! It started with work, work, work & an office day with chocolate ;p Ohh, I’m also super in love with all the flowy yoga clothing I bought recently! It makes my work-from-home-days and yoga sessions a lot more comfy. Furthermore, I also made some brand new digital spiritual content for my spiritual/positivity Instagram account (@thebodythesoulthemind).
Last Friday, I had tea at this beautiful place called ‘De Roos’ & I discovered another wonderful yoga studio where I followed a relaxing Yin yoga class. Since I can’t get enough of yoga, I decided to participate in a yoga/meditation/singing bowls/journaling session at House of Rituals. It was amazing! With only one more day left of the weekend: my parents came on Sunday. First, we had lunch at my place. The afternoon was for exploring The Museum of the Canals & The Rembrandt House Museum and having tea/coffee at the Tivoli Hotel. To end this lovely day, I made some soup for my parents and me (and I bought a cute dessert as a surprise for them) :)
So, before I’ll end this post I wanna wish you a great evening and week! Remember, don’t forget to schedule some ‘me-time’ from time to time. It’s a great way to recharge your soul, mind AND body! Ohh, there’s just one more thing left to say: everything will find you at exactly the right time♥️
